Hello, we are the Meiers,
I'm Immanuel, and the two whirlwinds next to me are my boys. Mom Myri loves summer, so she was behind the camera this time.
I'm so glad you found us here. If you've spared a minute, I'll tell you dry's story.
As a passionate snowboarder and skier, I spent up to 100 days a year in the snow before having children. When our first son was born, the question arose that first winter: How can we get to the mountains together and ski together? That sparked the idea for the world's first dry skis. At the time, my first son was one and a half years old.
This idea gave rise to the first drySki prototypes. He clipped a pair of slippers onto the skis, put on his ski goggles, and off he went. With these first skis, our little man and all his friends proudly skied through our apartment as the kings of the slopes. It was the first step to getting him used to his first real skis and getting him a feel for those "slats" on his feet.
He had so much fun playing around the apartment, playing about skiing, riding the gondola, and winter. Through this playful skiing at home, he quickly started skiing in the snow at the age of two, and at the age of three, he made his first descents with us.
The idea and the playful learning outcomes made so much sense that it became clear: We had to make this idea accessible to all children. The idea for dry, the balance bike of skiing, and a fun sports product range was born.
Several years and many hours of work later, I am delighted that, with the help of friends, we have managed to launch this small family business with our dry factory in Munich.
The dry motto is "play learn grow." Yes, it's English, because this idea extends beyond the borders of the German-speaking world.
Our goal is to make the balance bike of skiing available to all children so that we can promote the fun and joy of skiing and snowboarding. Join us as we bring this new idea to children's bedrooms around the world. We look forward to seeing you.
Best regards
Your Meiers
